Visit to the park

I took Grandmom and Grandpop to my favorite new park on Monday (and I let Mom and Dad come too). Not only does it have a big lake and geese, but it has two different playgrounds! It took a while, but I showed them all the different places to play.

First I showed them all the ramps and slides. It took a while to walk down every aisle, but it was important to show them how each one worked.

Next up was the train in the playground. Mom accused me of posing for this picture, but explain to me how someone can not look cute while driving a playground train.

Everybody loves a parade

Dad wanted to get a good picture of me watching the fire trucks at the Memorial Day parade today, but that blocked my view whenever they passed by. So, here's a picture of me when the Boy Scouts marched down the road instead.

Sitting on the dock of the river

Wait, you're telling me that Grandpop has owned a boat this whole time and I'm just finding out about it now!?! They're almost as awesome to watch as cars.

My couch

Now that I can climb up on the couch myself, I feel like I should get the good seat. It's only fair.

Miracles of technology

I'm pretty sure this is exactly why Skype was invented.

Aruba trip

Mom and Dad brought me this hat back from their trip to Aruba last week. I'm still a little miffed that they didn't take me, since it sounds like a pretty nice place. But since I got to hang out with Grandmom and Pop-Pop for a week, I guess I can't be too angry.

Vintage T-shirt

Dad keeps telling me this T-shirt has spaceships on it, but I think they look more like planes. Either way, I'm supposed to keep it in good condition until cousin Tommy is old enough to wear it, but a lot of my clothes don't last that long. I blame the fashion industry for their substandard products.

Even more cars

Why, yes, I do have a new shirt with cars on it. Why do you ask?

Tracking the wild Jonathan

Dad's note -- Jonathan brought this home from daycare recently. We're not sure if it was supposed to be a dinosaur track or if another kid in his class has some foot issues. Either way, we're counting his toes every day now.
