Best pillow ever

Who knew Aunt Kate made such a comfy beanbag? She didn't seem to mind too much.

Story Time

Just like any good story, the key is to save the best for the end.

Merry-go-round

Grandmom and Grandpop took me to a park with trains and a carousel today. Riding on the horses was great, but they really need to put a steam pipe on top, to make them look more like trains. That would be awesome.

Dad's note -- Thanks to Grandmom Linda for the picture! We accept guest photographers anytime, as long as they're taking pictures of Jonathan.

Helping around the house

Mom is still feeling a little under the weather, so we all have to chip in around the house. Grandma and Pop-Pop needed me to do the heavy lifting with the gardening, bringing all my pool water over to the new plants. I hope the tomatoes don't grow up smelling like my feet.

Swimming lessons

Mom and Dad might need to think about a bigger pool if I'm ever going to break Michael Phelps' gold medals record.

Prayers for Mom

Say a prayer for Mom today -- I'm hoping she gets home quickly, because her being away is really bad for my napping schedule. She's a really good pillow.

After the storm

Aunt Kate is a cookie

Dad's note: I don't really have an explanation for this.

In bloom

Great-Grandpop Shane's rose bush bloomed out front again this week. Dad won't let me pick any of them, though. Something about giant thorns.

Pool party

Grandmom and Pop Doyle put a pool out in their backyard today, and then they just left it there with all sorts of water inside. Luckily, I was around to dump it all back out, cup by cup. Their lawn really needs the drink.
