Grandpop Doyle told me these cars can go fast, but I don't know what the speed limit is on our coffee tables.

Lifeguard duty
If I can just figure out how to doggy paddle, I'm not gonna need Mom and Dad at all for the pool.
Of course, I still need Dad to teach me how to time these cool action photos.

Bear time again
Yesterday was my 3.5 birthday, so naturally Dad pulled out that ever shrinking bear again for a photo.
I've told him we should stop this, because there is virtually no difference in these pictures. Just look at the one from last summer and I'm sure you'll agree.

New dining room
Mom said our card table wasn't fancy enough for when guests visit, so Dad and I went out to get some new dining room furniture this weekend. It's pretty nice, but it cuts down on how much room I have to kick footballs around the dining room. But that table looks great for racing cars.

After-dinner treat
Everybody knows that, with really good desserts, the flavor is only half of the fun.

Mixed messages
Dad said I had to wear my shark pajamas tonight because of this movie, and then he didn't even let me stay up past my bedtime to see it. Whatever. I just wanted to watch the Phillies game anyways.

Happy Independence Day
I don't really know what we're celebrating today, but I know it means another parade, and that means...
...more fire trucks!!!
Today's parade had like a hundred fire trucks, but only a few marching bands, which meant I didn't do too much dancing. Still, clapping for all those sirens was exhausting work. I barely made it back to the car.

Outsider art
Pop-Pop Shane was pretty good at drawing copies of me on the driveway, but there's something about his chalk strokes that lack the artistry and reality of Grandmom Shane's interpretations. Also, I wanted him to do it in blue.
