Nothing to see here, just a couple of turkeys.

Getting comfortable
There wasn't enough room on the bed, but there weren't enough blankets and stuffed animals on the floor. What else were we supposed to do?

Learning to climb
The playground is a lot of fun, Emma, but it's a little easier to get up here when you have shoes on. Just remember that for next time.

Happy birthday to me (part 1, version 2)
Dad said there are certain traditions we have to uphold in this house, and since today is my first birthday, let's take a look back at where I was a year ago:
And today? One year later? Here's what I look like:
I know, I know, the hair looks much better now. But did you see how much smaller the bear has gotten? Jonathan was right! He keeps telling me Mom and Dad forget to feed the poor guy. I'll have to make sure we do it from now on.

Happy early birthday, Emma!
My first birthday isn't for a few more weeks, but since we already had a bunch of grandparents running around the house this week, we decided to celebrate early. So pretend I look a full year old in all of these pictures!
We had all sorts of cousins and uncles and grandmoms and everybody to help me celebrate. You would not believe how much noise they can all make in the house. And that was without me screaming!
Pop Doyle brought his favorite birthday pretzels, which looked like they were a funny shape this time.
Of course, they didn't last very long.
And Grandmom Shane and Aunt Beth helped Mom make this great Pooh cake! I was afraid of what Grandmom was doing when she kept talking about her "poo cake," but in fairness everybody kept laughing about it.
The recipe was delicious. This was so much fun! Let's have another one on the 14th!

First day of Kindergarten
Oh boy.
Today was my first day of kindergarten, which meant new teachers, new friends and a whole new school to go to every morning. The whole thing was a little scary for Mom and Dad, but I had a blast.
Plus I look good in my new uniform.
I get to go back tomorrow, so I'll tell you if there's more fun stuff on the second day!
