Music class

Everything is a little different right now, but it's nice to still be singing the same songs as we usually do at school. Especially this one.

New schoolhouse

Look, if we're gonna do all our work here, we're gonna need to build some better rooms. This can be the teacher's lounge, and the rest of the room can be the recess yard. 

New homeroom teacher

We've already started classes at home because of the virus restrictions, which is tough to get used to. But a little extra PBS TV in the morning makes it easier. 

Performance time

Dance recital for the spring just got cancelled, so we're gonna have to make up our own show. 

Tilling the fields

Jonathan better get out here with the pitchfork soon to start baling the old hay so we can make room for this year's plantings.

St. Patrick's surprise

We woke up this morning to ... well ... a mess. I'll let Emma explain.

It's not summer weather yet, but it's a good day to make sure the chalk still works.

One more birthday party

We didn't get to celebrate with Grandmom and Pop Shane yet, and Saturday was Pop's birthday, so that means more parties!

We only went with four candles this time, because 10 seemed like overkill. But this isn't helping Mom, who keeps insisting that I'm only 8 years old still. 

But Pop's cake was even worse. He keeps telling everyone he's 39, and I'm pretty sure that isn't right. I mean, Dad is older than that. Pop looks pretty good for an old guy, but I still think that number might be a little low. 

Spin it round again

We welcome any reason to make loud noises, really.

C'mon, sun. I can't wear all my fashionable spring outfits if you don't start warming things up already.
