I'm getting away with something, I'm just not sure what. 
 

Spring School portraits

They told me to be sassy, but not too sassy. 

They told me to not think about messing up my hair, but that's really hard.

Sometimes I think Aunt Kate is the smartest of all of us, because she escapes upstairs whenever the noise gets too overwhelming. 

Before the fall

This is a solid start. Now I just need about 10,000 more dominos and two more houses to complete the track I have in my mind. 
 

Blue skies coming my way

It's getting nicer out, and Emma is getting weirder. Summer must be around the corner. 
 

Intergenerational yard work

At first I didn't want to lend Pop a hand, but as soo as I heard "giant scissors to cut up branches" I was in. 
 

Letting it out

Sometimes, if you don't open you mouth and let some of the crazy escape, you can explode. It's best to be careful 

Easter portraits

 

Every year we all clean up nicer than we expect.  

So do Grandmom, Pop and Aunt Kate. The cousins? They do their best. 

Easter morning

OK, people -- this candy isn't going to collect itself! 

Sure, we have buckets to collect the candy in, but what if we just stored it right in our mouths? 
 

Easter prep

You can't have Easter without the eggs, and you don't get the eggs without painstaking work from the grandkids. 

Sometimes the only way to get the colors to stick is to start at the eggs as angrily as possible. 
 

After-school education

Sure, the textbooks at school have a lot of important facts, but the Guiness Book of World Records has the kind of information you need. Did you know someone solved a Rubik's Cube in 3.13 seconds?  
 

Football fever

I know we're out of season, but I'm still thinking about how the Eagles should have won that Super Bowl.
