Emma party #1

You need three things for a great birthday party: 

You need some presents. 

You need some cake. And you need some great friends and family. Can't ask for more than that.

Yep, it's time for the big bear. In case you forgot what he looks like, here he is just about four years ago this week:

That bear keeps getting smaller and my hair keeps getting longer. And, for the record, both Jonathan and I keep getting crazier.

We're still not sure why the first day of football isn't a national holiday. We should really have off. 

Wettest soccer practice ever

The drill was supposed to be learning how to headbutt the ball, but we used water balloons instead. I'm not sure if the goal was to teach us new skills or to cool us down a little. 

End of summer concert

There's just a little summer left, but there's still time for a concert at the park to hold onto a few of the last nice outside hours.
