Tent time

It's a little too cold to sleep outside, but this indoor tent is perfect for some winter camping in style.

Chalking up the driveway

Hold up -- wasn't it just snowing here a few days ago? This weather is screwy.

Plane museum

Our cub scout den went on a weekend camping trip with a local Boy Scouts troop which included a trip to the Patuxent River Naval Air Museum, which has a lot of planes.

And I mean a lot of planes. Did you know this one can fly like a plane or a helicopter? I've made things like this with legos, but I had no idea it would actually work.

I even got to try out a flight simulator while I was at the museum. Instead of flying left or right, I kept doing barrel rolls. But, honestly, why would you fly left or right if you could do barrel rolls?

The whole thing was pretty awesome. I asked Dad if would could bring home a plane, but he said I'm not allowed to fly one on my own until I'm at least 14. Bummer.

Snow!!!

OK, it wasn't a ton of snow, and it all came in the dark, and most of it was gone by the morning. But still ... SNOW!

Jonathan made snowballs for about an hour and threw them everywhere. And I ... well, I kinda forgot how snow works.

So close

I thought 2020 was supposed to be the year I grew enough to avoid this kind of embarrassment.

Starting off on the right foot

C'mon, let's get this room straightened up. It hasn't been clear for a single day this whole year!
