Easter portraits

Just because we're staying at home, that doesn't mean we can't dress up fancy and have a special Easter celebration on our own. 

However, all the fancy can't get rid of all the crazy. That's just science. 

Easter egg time

Usually we get to dye our eggs with Tommy and Shane at Pop's house in Pennsylvania, but we had to change that up a little this year. The eggs weren't as crazy as Pop makes them, but we held our own. And Emma's fingers got a little stained, which is what's really important.

When I finally get my alt-rock band together, this will be our first album cover.

Yeah, I know we already did this. Doesn't matter, it always looks cool.

Walk in the woods

We took a little break from the house recently for a safe and secluded walk at a nearby park. There's not a lot of green out yet, but there is more than what our couch has. 

Emma was very happy with the change of scenery but less excited by the expectation to be camera ready. 

But it was a really great escape. There were beautiful beds of flowers and some peaceful ponds to help relax us. We'll be back again soon.

I still don't really want to do my language arts work, but I am loving the attention I get from home school's new teacher's assistant.
