Dinosaur books

Why don't Mom and Dad ever take me to the zoo to see these guys? Or take me to ride on the dinosaur train? That'd be too cool.

Traffic jam

You know, if they were really in a hurry, they could drive around me.

Brown bear, take two

Remember this video of me reading "Brown Bear, what do you see?" We've been going over that story a lot in daycare recently, so here I am reading it again ... without the book.

National Book Festival

I got a chance to go into Washington, D.C. for the national book festival today, and you'll never guess who was there.

That cat and his hat were too cool. But where were Thing 1 and Thing 2? Seems like they could have found time to come out and play today.

The PBS tent also had a giant picture of Daniel Tiger's trolley, but they forgot to color it in. Luckily, somebody had left some markers nearby, so I did as much work as I could.

I also got a great new Clifford book where he climbs up the Washington Monument. But after seeing the real thing, I'm wondering if that's realistic at all.

Coloring in the lines

What's the fun in just coloring in the book? There's plenty of room outside the page.

Play ball

I got to hang out at Grandma Linda's house this weekend for Grandpop's birthday party, and the neighborhood kids had all sorts of stuff to play with.

Here's me playing catch with cousin Lily, while Ollie and Uncle Mike watch. She's got a wicked curve all for a four-year-old.

And Dad said this "football" is the kind you kick on the ground. Looks like a soccer ball to me, but it's fun either way.

Morning rush hour

When I get to school early, I get to run laps around the classroom without any traffic.
