As part of our week up the Poconos, all of the boys (and Mom and Aunt Beth) hiked down to Hawk Falls to see the giant waterfall there. My favorite part was climbing on all the rocks. And there were a ton of them.

In fact, we had to walk across some of them to get across a river. Sure, we could have used the bridge nearby, but Dad said he refuses to acknowledge that it's even there and only the weak use it. (He seemed really angry about a 15-foot long bridge ...) Anyway, the rocks were more fun. Tommy and I couldn't believe how nice the woods were. Everything was so quiet ... which made it easier for everybody to hear us talk.
We climbed over so many rocks at the top and the bottom of the waterfall. At the top, the cliff was so steep that Pop had to hold on to me to make sure I didn't fall over. I don't know why he was worried. There was plenty of water at the bottom, and I'm becoming a great swimmer.
We even found a little time for tossing some rocks in the water, which is always a ton of fun. Don't worry, we left a few stones on the bank for the next time we visit.
