Better tools, better blog

Mom and Dad got a new video camera for Christmas. Of course, I'm the one that had to set it up.

Does this mean better videos for the site? Judge for yourself:

Don't worry -- Dad will get the hang of this video stuff once I teach him a little more.

Christmas part 2

Wait, more grandparents mean more presents? That's too cool.

Saturday, December 25, 2010

Christmas, part 1

Now it's time to open presents? Finally.

By the way, here's the half of my family that's up in Pennsylvania. This is as cleaned up as I could get them for a picture.

Christmas Eve impatience

But I feel better and all the presents are here already. Why do we have to wait another day?

Technical difficulties

I've been battling an ear infection, so I'm not up for pictures right now. But hopefully I'll be back on my feet soon and have some more shots for my adoring fans. Thanks for your patience!

Caught a big one

I got one, Mom! Can I keep him? Can I keep him?

Ready for Sunday night

Great-grandpop and I just chilling on the couch, watching the big Eagles game. And I know he can work the bottle opener, so he's not getting my bottle. I had to whine for five minutes for this.

Up and at 'em

Oh boy. Mom and Dad are not ready for this already.

A Christmas nightmare

None of the citzens of Christmas village could sleep soundly knowing that the giant Baby New Year lurked ouside their doors.

I can't put my arms down

Listen, Dad -- unless it's already snowing outside, we can probably wait a little longer for me to grow into the winter coat.

Doctor update

I went for my nine-month check-up today -- The doctor said I'm just under 18 pounds and just over 28 inches long. She also said that developmentally I'm around a 10- or 11-month-old, but in terms of cuteness I'm years ahead of other kids my age.

OK, she didn't say that last part. But you could totally tell she thought it.

Buckeyes beat Michigan!

Dad tells me this happens every year, but it's the first time I got to see it. So, when do I get to eat some Buckeye cookies?

Getting ready for Thanksgiving

When Mom said we had to pack up for our trip to Grandmom's, I didn't think she meant this.

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!

Chores stink

I thought I'd be allowed back inside after I finished raking the leaves, but Dad says I need to bag them too. Geez.

In the grasp

Usually Dad moves so quick I can't grab that camera, but I got him this time.

Showing off the colors

I can think of 59 different reasons why it's gonna be fun showing off my Eagles coat at daycare today...

Updating the blog

What, you think these photos upload themselves?

Another Jonathan commentary

And now, Jonathan offers his commentary on the president's visit to the Far East and its ramifications for a long-term solution to the domestic trade imbalance:

Dad's note: Good stuff. I particularly like that he filmed the whole thing "left to right" as a bitter cut at the partisan nature of debate in Washington these days. Very clever.

Ready to go

Well, c'mon! I didn't get all dressed up to sit in my crib all day, you know.

Checking in with that bear

Remember this teddy bear?

That's me with him about seven months ago, when I was six weeks old. I crawled over to the couch to check him out today, and you'll never guess what I discovered:

The bear got smaller again! It seems like every month he shrinks a little more. I've got to talk to mom and dad about feeding him better.

Snack Time again!

I don't get it, Mom. What do you want me to do with these little things?

Put it in my mouth? Why? And what's a rice puff?

Like this? But I ... ooooh, that's good.

More?

Fun with grandparents

I visited my grandparents up in Philly this weekend, and I'm sorry to say that I think they're going crazy.

Uh, Pop-Pop? I think you reversed our bottles.

And Grandmom? I think there's a better way to get me clean.

Oh well. I had lots of fun anyways.

Portrait model

Dad takes great pictures, but apparently the professional photographer at daycare took one too good for them to pass up. I can't help the cuteness...

Wednesday, October 20, 2010

Can I help you?

Can't a guy crawl around on the floor in peace? Jeez.

Sunday, October 17, 2010

Mixed feelings

I'm still not sold on the Eagles' quarterback moves, but their blankets are soooooo comfy.

Reverse is a hard direction

I can see you, but I still don't know how to get back there.

Coming to get you

I'm coming for you, but it's just soooo tiring....

The picture taking process

We're taking pictures again, Dad? Am I supposed to be serious in this one? I'll do serious.
How about disgusted? Lemme show off my range a little bit.
Oh, you wanted happy again? Gotcha. I've got you covered.
Anything else? No? Great, see you next photo shoot.

Confusion

I don't get it. I didn't give up any hits last night either, but Roy Halladay gets all sorts of attention for it. And he gave up one more walk than I did.

Oh well. Go Phils!

Thursday, September 30, 2010

Duct Tape Time

I don't get it. My bottle rolled away, and then when I went over to get it, Mom and Dad got all excited.

Maybe they wanted me to crawl over to the toys instead?

Monday, September 27, 2010

Phillies!!!!!

Great work, guys! Now win me a World Series! I don't know what that is, but Dad says we want one.

How can you say no to us? Look at how much fun we're having.

The life of a burp cloth

Presenting a view of the world from the eyes of a manhandled burp cloth:

Dad's note: Yeah, it aint pretty. Those hands are grabbing onto everything now. But the camera did survive.

Ready for football, week 2

Hold on, this combo makes no sense. And why are we watching the Phillies instead of the Eagles?

Friday, September 17, 2010

Somebody needs to vacuum

Dad, this is the weirdest carpet yet.

Wednesday, September 15, 2010

Flavorful fun

This toy doesn't taste like it was cooked right. I'm just saying.

Grandma, I'm hungry and nobody will feed me. Grandma? Are you there? Hello?

Getting back in the swing

I just got home from a nice long vacation up the Poconos where I had fun but Dad had no Internet access. So, we'll get back in the swing of pictures real soon. Promise.

Happy 1/2 birthday to me!

Remember this? That was just a few days after my birthday, Feb. 24. Today's my six-month birthday, and I look pretty much the same.

Except for the everything.

My official doctor's appointment is Friday, but unofficially I'm 15 pounds and 26 inches tall. At this rate, I'll be 225 pounds and 12 feet tall by age 10. I think that's pretty normal growth.
