Testing the greens

It has been a while since we took Grandmom out to a golf course, so we tested out her skills last weekend. Her putter looks OK, but that 3 wood is gonna need some work.

The Olympics start tomorrow, and we are ready to root for our team! Especially in synchronized swimming, Emma loves all the really crazy sports.

Scenes from Hickory Run

Hickory Run State Park is one of our favorite places anywhere, because there is a ton to see there: 

You can scramble over rocks at Boulder Field. 

You can wade into super cool rivers. 

And you can get up close and personal with a waterfall. Just remember to pull Pop back out of the water when you're done. 
 

At the movies

They don't have a lot of new releases at this theater, but the seating is amazing.

Sparkler time

What better way to celebrate the 4th of July than by lighting things on fire? 

Sparklers are a lot of fun because they have the fire of fireworks without all the loud noise. Plus, the excitement is a lot closer. 

Even Grandmom and Pop got in on the fun! 

 

Tennis lessons

Dad wanted to get a little closer for better shots, but that's a two-set penalty, so we made him wait off court until we got our hits in.
