Happy 70th to Grandmom and Pop

Not sure Grandmom and Pop were sure we'd even get to have a party this year, given everything that has happened. But not only did we get together to celebrate another year of their love, but we also brought an entire choir to sing happy birthday to them. Of course, the whole choir was just in Shane's head, but it was pretty spectacular nonetheless.

Cool treats on a hot spring day are great, but they're even better when you get to have them with cousins and family. 

First day of school, part 2

  

Emma gets to go back to school five days a week, but because of overcrowding in my class, I'm only heading back twice a week. So I had a separate "first day" of school this year, which was exciting, but also a little confusing. 

But the good news is with each day, I feel like normal life is getting closer. 

And closer.

First day of school ... in person

It took more than a year to head back into the classroom, but today I got to head back into school and sit alongside my friends for our first in-person teaching in waaay too long. It's a little bit weird, a little bit scary, but ...

... also a lot exciting. 

Tickled pink

It's not Mom's favorite color, but it works on me. So I'm fine to work more pink into my fashion schedule. 
 

It's been a long cold lonely winter

Since we can get out a little more now, we headed down tot he local pond to make sure our turtle buds are still hanging around. The good news is they are! The bad news is the big one is still bigger than Emma, and she has grown a bunch too...
 

Purrfectly happy

She sheds a lot of hair and now she's playing with a ball of yarn. Are we sure she isn't a cat?

I'm probably still small enough to fit through this, but Dad won't let me try because he says it's too close of a call. 
 

Easter portraits 2021

We didn't get a chance to get up to Warminster last year for our annual Easter pictures, but 2021 a different story. Not only did we get some great family pictures ... 

But we also got some fun cousin pictures ... 

And we got to hug Grandmom, Pop and Aunt Jeanne to make up for missing pictures last year. 2021 is already looking a little brighter.
