Winter recital

I finally got back to dance classes in person this fall, which meant I got to have a big stage performance this weekend to show off everything I've learned. And it was a ton -- check out the routine below: 

Bad influence

This was actually from Christmas break, but I think we all could use a good laugh now. 

Our little angel

I'm guessing they meant the snow angel. They usually don't call me that, especially after I've brought half of the neighborhood snow into the house. 
 

Sledding comparison

Here's a look at our two best sledding courses from the neighborhood. 

First, the big hill:

And second, the new double hill:

That second one may require some advanced training before you try it. Just some warning. 

Finally, some snow!

Feels like it has been forever since we got a real snowstorm, but the weather gods just dumped nine inches of good packing snow everywhere. 

And that means breaking out the sleds. We built our own course on the side of the house...

... and we found a new double hill around the conrner and tried it out with some friends. We wiped out a lot, but thats most of the fun anyways. 
 

Appropriate for all ages?

The playground seems to be getting smaller each time we visit...

 

Girls can do it all

I don't need the vampire teeth to make my point, but it doesn't hurt to have them either. 
 

Hanging in there

The problem here is that if I fall, I'm gonna blend in perfectly with those cushion sponges below.

Tuesdays

They're the new Mondays. Ugh.

It's still cold but also very sunny, so maybe spring isn't that far away.
