Extreme close up

I used to flinch whenever Dad zoomed in this close for a picture, but now I realize it's a better shot if I start right back through him. Plus, we both laugh then.

Science class is always a little easier with a lab assistant. It's especially helpful if he can reach the sink to fill up the bowl with water for a sink-or-float experiment.

The gardens may not be in full bloom yet, but you should have seen what a mess they were before Mom and I cleaned them up.

It's not that we don't appreciate the candy. It's just ... I mean, we have a lot of bowls and plenty of tables that it could have been left on, instead of all over the floor.
