Pumpkin Picking

October means heading to the pumpkin patch for some Halloween decorations. Luckily, we visited early this year, so there were plenty left. 

This one looks perfect! But Jonathan wants one as big as me. 

I remember this pumpking house used to be bigger...

... but the corn maze is still really tall!

A few weird gourds and we're all done. Next up is making some roated pumpkin seeds!

I really wanted to wear the crown but Mom insisted it was hers. That's exactly what happened, no matter what Mom says.

We got the whole team to gather for a minute for a group picture. I know we look still, but in real life we move pretty fast.

So the man says "doctor, it hurts when I hold up my arm like this" and the doctor replies by telling him "then don't do that." 
 

Cross country meet

Jonathan and I had our first cross country meet together -- He's running the two-mile course, I'm still just on one mile. But I had a great team of girls to run with this time. 

I set a pretty good pace, getting to the finish line in just over 10 minutes. 

And Jonathan knocked out his two miles in less than 25 minutes. Not bad for someone who said he didn't want to race! Looking forward to a few more before the end of the season.
