Too much fun in the snow

We got our first real snowfall in a while this weekend. Mom and Dad wanted to stay indoors and avoid the cold, but I knew the real fun was out on the front driveway.

Here I am making tire tracks with my pickup truck. It handled pretty well in the snow, but next time I'm gonna have to put some chains on the tires. For safety.

You can make awesome footprint tracks in the snow too. I made a giant "V" here to symbolize my victory over the elements. Dad messed it up by walking too close to my pattern.

And afterwards, there's nothing better than using every blanket in the house to warm back up. Well, maybe hot chocolate is better, but I still don't know what that is.

Hey,"Pop D", snow is really cool. You always worry about driving in it but I couldn't get my truck to "skid" at all--whatever "skid" means. Maybe you should think about trading in one of your cars and get a truck like mine, or may be a yellow Jeep like you got for me.

I'm just happy to see you didn't have a snow shovel or chain saw in your hand. Hope to see all of you soon. Miss you bunches, Hon!! xoxo

Love you,

Mmmm!. . . hot chocolate with a dab
of marshmallow fluff in it. Of
course, that's a treat for young
ones like you who use up lots of
calories having such creative fun
in the snow.

Love to all your other fans,
Aunt Pat
